11Overview2233Muiquun Outlaws is a Other faction based in Crimson Desert. The exiled, the infamous, and the outcasts of the world have all drifted to the desert, banding together to form a faction. Yet here, there's no true sense of belonging. In Muiquun, your past and your name hold no weight. The strength to survive is the only law.4455Faction Crest66778899Faction Details10101111PropertyValueType OtherRegionCrimson DesertDescriptionThe exiled, the infamous, and the outcasts of the world have all drifted to the desert, banding together to form a faction. Their base is Muiquun, a former oasis town southeast of Tashkalp that was reclaimed as a safe harbor for anyone with nowhere else to go. Inside Muiquun, past histories and names carry no weight, and only raw strength sets the social order.15151616Unlike the purely hostile desert gangs, Muiquun operates as a reluctant community. Its underground economy centers on the Lawless Market, where the faction trades and negotiates work with passing adventurers. The outlaws here are closer to survivors than villains, but the town runs on its own rules and does not recognize the authority of any neighboring region.17171818Faction Quests19192020QuestNotesLawless MarketIntroduces the Muiquun black market and its carriage workshop.Name on the Bounty NoticeBounty hunting quest that starts from a poster in Muiquun.2121Related Articles22222323Tashkalp - nearest desert town, gateway to Muiquun.Lawless Market - Muiquun's black-market hub.Faction Quests - overview of faction side content.24242525Reputation and Rewards26262727Like every faction in Crimson Desert, this group sits inside the game's five-tier reputation system: War, Hostile, Neutral, Friendly, and Alliance. Most factions begin at Neutral when first encountered, and reputation shifts as the player completes faction quests, contracts, and related world content. Reaching Alliance unlocks three compounding benefits: allied troops that assist in combat inside the faction's territory, exclusive vendors carrying items not sold anywhere else, and restricted resource nodes such as mining deposits, ingredient patches, and hidden dungeons.28282929Faction System Notes30303131Crimson Desert tracks approximately 110 factions in total across the continent of Pywel, split across four classification types: Core, Hostile, Religious, and Other. Contribution XP from completing faction quests feeds into standing with the issuing faction and, in several regions, into a shared regional reputation such as Demenissian Contribution or Pailunese Contribution. Progress is tracked on the reputation panel in the player menu, and reaching Alliance with a faction typically unlocks a named reward set that can include armor, weapons, mounts, or cosmetics such as the Pirate King Hat earned through Vellua Fishermen's Guild content.32323333For a complete cross-reference to every faction in the game, see the Factions overview page and the Faction Quests hub.34343535Role in the Pure Black Dye Quest Chain36363737Clearing the Mist Cloud Owl Raiders out of Muiquun is more than a faction-standing milestone; it is the canonical first step in the Pure Black Dye unlock chain. Until the Raiders in Muiquun liberation is reported back to the Tash Kalpha guard, the Lawless Market wagon contracts do not become available, and without those contracts the Mock Root Windmill back-alley vendor never spawns its rare-dye inventory.38383939Players hunting the rare grayscale dyes treat the Muiquun arc as a prerequisite gate rather than an optional faction side. The sequence as a whole runs as follows:40404141Pick up the Request to Punish Outlaws in Muiquun prompt at the Tash Kalpha guard.Engage and defeat the Mist Cloud Owl Raiders occupying Muiquun, then return to the guard to close out the Raiders in Muiquun quest.Begin the Lawless Market chain at the small settlement below the Tash Kalpha fast travel, then complete the three-wagon theft contract.Fast travel to any abyss nexus to refresh the area, then visit the Back-Alley Vendor at Mock Root Windmill question-mark icon to purchase the dye.42424343Because the Muiquun arc gates the entire dye chain, the faction is best treated as a one-pass clear: finish the liberation in a single session, complete the Lawless Market contract immediately afterward to keep the wagon spawns synchronized, and only return to the area for the vendor pickup once the dye chain is wrapped up.44444545Tip: Players who pause between the Muiquun liberation and the wagon chain sometimes report that the Lawless Market markers do not display on reload. Speaking with the Tash Kalpha NPC who hands out the contract usually re-arms the markers without a quest restart.Tip: The wagon chain produces a known stick-in-place bug between deliveries. Dismounting and re-mounting the wagon consistently resumes movement.46464747Related Pages48484949For a complete list of all factions in Crimson Desert, see the Factions overview page.
