With the eastern invaders repelled and the Frozen Hearted Predator defeated, the Greymanes have proven the ATAG's effectiveness. However, a lingering shadow of larger threats remains on the horizon.

1717 That night, Kliff experiences an Abyss vision. The vision shows fragments of the larger conspiracy at work: shadowy figures manipulating events from a distant city, and a massive flying structure hovering ominously in the sky. This foreshadows the events of Chapter 11.
