33 Libra's Soul (also referred to as Leebur's Soul in some translations) is a unique key item in Crimson Desert obtained by defeating Black Fang, the legendary wolf. When used from the player's inventory, it permanently reveals the map locations of all 24 legendary animals across the world of Pywel. This makes Libra's Soul one of the most valuable items in the game for exploration and completionism.

88 Libra's Soul is dropped by Black Fang, the legendary wolf found in the Forest of Wolves in the Hernand region, north of The Sage's Peak. Black Fang is accessible through the "Howls from the North Gate" quest, which is part of the House Celeste faction questline. The quest becomes available after completing a chain of prerequisite faction quests spanning House Roberts, House Circus, and House Celeste.

1010 The fight against Black Fang is a two-phase encounter. The wolf fights alongside a pack of regular wolves and must be defeated twice before it drops its rewards. Along with Libra's Soul, Black Fang also drops the Shadow Claw abyss gear and an Abyss Artifact.

Navigate to Others, then Knowledge, then Creatures, and select the Legendary Creatures tab to see every creature listed with its distinguishing characteristics and approximate territory. This is especially useful for tracking legendary herbivores, which do not appear on the minimap and require visual identification.

3030 Players who cannot yet defeat Black Fang or have not completed the prerequisite faction quests can still discover individual legendary animals through an alternative method. Building trust with Saddlery and Tannery merchants to 100% unlocks Sighting Documents in their expanded inventory. Each document reveals one specific legendary animal. This approach is slower and piecemeal compared to using Libra's Soul, but it allows early access to specific legendary hunts before the Black Fang quest becomes available.

Consume it right after defeating Black Fang.Socket Shadow Claw first: Before heading out to hunt legendary animals, visit a Witch vendor and socket the Shadow Claw abyss gear into your weapon. The 3 extra hits per attack dramatically speeds up every subsequent hunt.Plan your route: With all markers visible, plan an efficient hunting route by region. Start with nearby Hernand creatures, then expand outward.Prioritize predators: Predator legendary animals drop combat equipment. Hunt them first if you want gear upgrades. Herbivores drop cosmetic decorations and can wait.
