They belong to Blinding Arrow soldiers who patrol the region on these birds. To obtain one:1919Travel to the Steel Mountains and locate Blinding Arrow soldiers riding Kuku Birds.Engage and defeat the soldier riding the bird. The bird will bolt the moment its rider goes down.Chase the fleeing bird and mount it before it puts too much distance between you. Speed is critical.2121The key difference between obtaining a Kuku Bird and a predator mount is that you fight the rider, not the bird itself. The bird is docile and will not attack you.2323Gliding Mechanics2525The Kuku Bird Hatchling's primary ability is controlled gliding from height. When you ride it off a cliff, tall structure, or elevated ledge, the bird extends its wings and enters a controlled glide. It stays in the area and wanders passively. You can walk up to it again and remount without needing to fight or chase it.
