The mission has a single objective: travel to the horse track, speak to the race host stationed there, and beat him in a one-on-one horse race. Horse Fair Races is locked behind the first three Byron missions. Players need to be at the 3/4 stage on the Byron tracker before the fourth slot opens at all.27276 of 6 Silver Moon trade group missions completed. The full Silver Moon Trade Group chain is the literal trigger for the fourth Byron mission. As soon as Silver Moon hits 6/6, the Horse Fair Races slot becomes selectable at the horse track.2929Race Strategy3131The race itself is forgiving as long as your mount is reasonably equipped. Two priorities matter:3333Bank stamina for curves. Spamming sprint down the straightaways is wasteful because the AI host receives a compensating sprint boost that closes any lead. Hold sprint for the curves at the two ends of the arena, where the boost actually buys you positional advantage.3535Sprint hard for the finish. Save a final reservoir of stamina for the run-in to the finish line. A clean late sprint is usually all that is needed to take first place even if the AI is on your tail.3737Reward: Riding Boots3939Winning Horse Fair Races awards the Riding Boots, which slot into the larger Riding Attire set. The boots add to your horse's trust-XP growth rate and stack with Master Trainer's Touch, the Riding Attire chest piece, the Leather Riding Hat, and the Riding Cloak.
