33 Home Decoration is a system in Crimson Desert that lets players furnish and personalize Kliff's personal quarters at Greymane Camp. After the camp is established during Chapter 3, players gain access to a house located southeast of the main camp, across a small ravine at Howling Hill. Inside, you can place a variety of decorative objects collected from across Pywel to make the space your own.

55 Decorating is purely cosmetic and does not affect gameplay stats. However, it provides a personal touch to your home base and gives purpose to the many collectibles found during exploration. Items marked with a house icon in your inventory are eligible for placement, ranging from small objects like bowls, cups, and lanterns to larger pieces like tables, cabinets, and drawers.

99 The housing system unlocks during Chapter 3 of the main story. After Marquis Serkis grants the Greymanes a fief at Howling Hill, you complete the "A Fresh Start" quest to establish the camp. Once the camp is operational, Kliff's personal house becomes available. It is located southeast of the main Greymane Camp area, across a ravine. Head east along the ravine path and up toward the clifftops to find it. The house is marked on the map after completing the initial setup.

1111 The house contains 3 rooms that can be decorated independently. When you first enter after the quest, a short tutorial introduces the decoration system.

1515 To begin decorating, approach your house and press the Start button to enter Decoration Mode. This switches to an overhead camera view of the interior, with a list of installable objects displayed on the upper-right corner of the screen. Only items marked with the house icon in your inventory appear in this list.

1717 While in Decoration Mode, you can select an item from the list and place it anywhere within the 3 rooms. Objects snap to surfaces like shelves, tables, and walls depending on their type. Each placed item has its own 3D model that appears in the room once confirmed. Items can be rearranged or removed at any time, so there is no penalty for experimenting with different layouts.

2828 Exploration. Many collectibles are found simply by exploring towns and cities. Interact with objects in the environment (shelves, market stalls, tables) to pick them up. Thorough exploration of settlements like Hernand Town, Demeniss, and Delesyia yields a wide variety of items.Vendors. Several vendors sell decorative items directly. Alden, the proprietor of the Hernand Provisioner's Shop, is one of the earliest accessible vendors who stocks kitchen tools, collectibles, candles, lamps, and more. As you expand Greymane Camp, additional merchants become available at the camp itself.Quest rewards. Certain quests reward collectible items upon completion, particularly side quests and commissions in towns.Crafting. Some decorative items can be crafted at the camp's workshops, such as the Dark Red Dye (which is also a collectible worth 57 Bells if sold).

3232 Beyond decoration, collectibles serve a second purpose: they can be gifted to NPCs to build relationships and increase trust. When you present a collectible as a gift through the dialogue menu, the NPC's trust increases based on the item's perceived value. Higher trust levels can unlock lower shop prices, new dialogue options, special requests or side quests, and discounts on services like repairs or crafting. Gifting a collectible consumes the item, so if you want both decoration and trust benefits, you will need to collect duplicates.

3636 Each collectible has a sell price measured in Bells (the game's primary currency, Silver). Prices range from as low as 1 Bell for common items like candles and flower baskets to 57 Silver for the craftable Dark Red Dye. Metal wares generally sell for more than ceramic or wooden items. If you are not interested in decorating or gifting a particular collectible, selling it is a reasonable way to earn some extra income.
