1111 The Grotevant Plate Armor is obtained by purchasing and playing Crimson Desert on the PS5. All PS5 players receive this armor piece regardless of which edition they purchased (Standard, Digital Deluxe, or Physical Deluxe). The Grotevant Plate Set is not available on PC or Xbox.

2323 At 10 DEF with no secondary bonuses or Abyss Gear slots, the Grotevant Plate Armor is a pure defense piece. Its high base defense makes it very effective in the early chapters of the game, where most enemies deal relatively low damage. PS5 players can equip the full Grotevant Plate Set from the start for a strong defensive baseline, then gradually replace individual pieces with armor that offers special effects or Abyss Core slots as they progress. The Kairos Plate Armor (Deluxe Edition bonus) has identical defense but also provides a Daze Immunity effect, making it the stronger choice for players who own both sets.
