1414 Beyond its value as a simple trade commodity, Greymane Contribution ties directly into the dispatch system once you have claimed the Seal of Devotion from the Flame Knight in Demeniss after Chapter 8. With the seal in your inventory, the dispatch interface gains a hire button that lets you fill empty dispatch slots with temporary workers in exchange for Contribution Points.

This means a multi-skill dispatch that requires four or more participants can be completed with just a single qualified Greymane plus a full stack of hires, which is especially useful for filling ruins exploration and high-end production missions.

You are not permanently spending the points, only temporarily locking them up for the duration of the mission. 2626 Patch 1.0402 added a dedicated contribution-point storefront at the Greymane Camp, run by the Greymane camp provisioner. The shop spends Greymane Contribution points directly rather than silver, giving a second use for the currency beyond the temporary dispatch-hire refunds covered above. Any points spent at the shop are permanently deducted, but items can be sold back to the same provisioner at the same price they were purchased for, so rotating stock in and out of inventory is risk-free.

Only the chest piece and the matching cloak are currently available; the head, gloves, and boots slots are not yet stocked. Hire spending at the dispatch board temporarily locks contribution points for the duration of the mission and refunds them in full when the comrades return to camp. Shop purchases are different: the points leave your total the moment the item is bought and only come back if you choose to sell the item to the provisioner. This makes the shop a second, separate accounting of the same currency pool rather than an extension of the hire loop.

Because the shop sits at the same provisioner counter that handles contribution donations and lost-item recovery, a single visit can buy or refund shop stock, deposit contribution trade goods, and pick up any Sigil of Bond or similar misplaced item in one pass. Players running repeatable camp-resource dispatches for funds or food will usually pass through this counter frequently enough that the shop becomes an incidental stop rather than a dedicated errand.
