The Grey Wolf Wooden Shield is a shield in Crimson Desert that provides DEF 3 alongside Movement Speed Lv.2.

It serves as Kliff's starting equipment, providing DEF 3 and Movement Speed Lv.2. Despite its simple wooden construction, it is sturdy enough to serve as a reliable defensive tool through the early chapters of the game.

How to Obtain

The Grey Wolf Wooden Shield is Kliff's starting shield, equipped automatically at the beginning of the game. It is usable immediately during the Ambush prologue quest. The shield cannot be purchased from merchants, found as separate loot, or crafted. It is exclusive to Kliff's starting loadout.

Core Slots

The 2 core slots allow customization with Abyss Cores to tailor the shield's bonuses to specific combat situations or builds. Players might consider slotting defensive cores for additional survivability or utility cores that complement the shield's strengths. Cores can be embedded or removed through a witch NPC at no cost, making experimentation easy.
