1010 The Great White Bison spawns on the mountainside near the letter P on the Pailune region map. After using Leebur's Soul (obtained from defeating Black Fang), the bison's location is marked on the world map. The spawn area is close to where the legendary horse Royler can be found near Snowgrass Hearth, making it possible to tame the horse and hunt the bison in the same trip.

The Great White Bison is significantly larger and bright white compared to the orange-brown coloring of normal bison, so once you know what to look for, it should be identifiable at a moderate distance.

1616 The Great White Bison has a larger health pool than smaller legendary herbivores like deer. It can charge and ram with considerable force, so be prepared to dodge its forward charges. Despite being classified as a herbivore, the bison can still hit hard if you get caught in a direct charge.

Flame Strike or any fire-based ability will knock the bison to the ground, giving you free damage.Stay to the side: The bison's charge attacks have strong forward momentum but limited turning. Dodge sideways and attack from the flank.Watch for herd aggro: Regular bison in the area may also become hostile if you attack near them. Try to isolate the Great White Bison before engaging.Bring healing items: Braised Meat and Meat Skewers are recommended in case the bison lands a charge.
