55 Exploration Challenges are one of five top-level challenge categories, containing over 214 individual challenges across nine subcategories. Expert Explorer triggers only when all nine are finished. Four subcategories have their own dedicated trophies (such as Pilgrim of Wonders or Conqueror of Spires); the other five roll into Expert Explorer only. Progress is tracked under Journal > Challenges > Exploration.

Traveling to a Secret Place cluster puts you near Ancient Ruins and Sealed Artifacts; finishing everything in a region at once is far faster than repeated trips. Ring the eight Hidden Bells before any serious grind to unfog the map and reveal dozens of Mysterious Energy icons at once. Track the Journal daily: when a subcategory counter hits its cap, the associated trophy fires immediately. Leave Sanctums for Chapter 5 and Sanctum of Mortification for Chapter 9; every other subcategory can be tackled freely.
