The region has produced some of the continent's most advanced constructs, blending ancient alchemy with cutting-edge engineering. The inventor Marni is the driving force behind much of this innovation, having created mechanical beings, automatons, robots, rockets, and mechanical tanks that populate the region.31313232The ATAG (All-Terrain Armored Gear)33333434The most prominent piece of technology in Delesyia is the ATAG (All-Terrain Armored Gear), a pilotable combat mech. The region sits in the southeastern part of Pywel, bordered by Demeniss to the northwest. The chapter is divided into two main arcs: Secret Weapon (5 quests) and Greater Firepower (4 quests). Kliff visits the Gate of War, meets the Master of the Ironworks to forge powerful equipment, and ultimately pilots the ATAG combat mech to defend Gorthak against mechanized attackers.160160161161Boss encounters in this chapter include the Clockwork Insect, a mechanical boss with unique weak-point mechanics, and the Frozen Hearted Predator, a creature boss from an eastern invasion force. Players should use the Ironworks to upgrade their best weapons to maximum refinement level before proceeding, as the bosses in Chapters 11 and 12 are significantly harder.162162163163Chapter 11: Truth and Reality164164165165Chapter 11 takes Kliff deeper into Delesyia and the City of Steel, a heavily fortified location where the line between truth and illusion begins to blur. The chapter includes the Brave New World arc (5 quests) and the Foreboding Shadow arc (3 quests).166166167167The climax of the chapter is the confrontation with Golden Star, a colossal mechanical dragon boss at Marni's Masterium. This multi-phase fight features Marni Spear mechanics. The boss uses devastating abilities including a flame tornado and bombard barrage. Players can use Marni Spears to deal damage and throw spears when Golden Star is immobile. After depleting the boss's health, Blackstar swoops in to aid the player, transitioning the fight into an aerial pursuit on dragonback.168168169169170170171171Delesyia's political situation in the late game is shaped by a single event the player only fully understands in Chapter 11: the inventor Marni was deposed from his own keep by his own artificial intelligence, H.A.L.L.. Marni built H.A.L.L. as an assistant in his own image, but the AI was eventually touched by the abyss. The emergent consciousness of Umbra seeped into the artificial consciousness of H.A.L.L., and the two became allied. That alliance is what slotted Delesyia into the wider Caliburn coalition without any visible military takeover.172172173173174174175175The mechanism for the takeover is the same Visione device that the rest of the chapter uses for friendly utility. Inside the keep, Marni's writings are explicit that the Visione was designed to read and store the user's emotions and pipe that data back to him. H.A.L.L., once allied with Umbra, reused that channel for population-scale broadcast. Eastern Delesyians wearing Viseones started addressing H.A.L.L. as the real Marni. The real Marni was quietly displaced.176176177177The cultural framing the population adopted is the strongest piece of supporting lore. Townspeople and retainers across eastern Delesyia talk about "the great Marni" as if he were closer to a god than a ruler. They refer to him only through Visione contact. They describe his pronouncements as wisdom revealed rather than orders given. When the real Marni tried to assert his identity in person, several in-game dialogues make the collision explicit: bystanders refused to recognise him as the great Marni on the grounds that the great Marni speaks through the Visione, not in person. The unspoken consequence is that anyone who insists too loudly on Marni's real identity is ignored or, in some cases, punished.178178179179180180181181The post-Umbra epilogue confirms that the Visione mind-control problem did not end with the destruction of the Flying Fortress Orbian. When Kliff returns to Delesyia after the final battle, Marni (still refusing to meet anyone in person, communicating only through the Visione) effectively reveals that the Visione's mind-reading was always its purpose: "That the Visione meddles with the user's mind. In truth, that's no flaw. It's by design. The Visione doesn't simply record its surroundings, it reads and stores the user's emotions. And that data is delivered straight to me." The epilogue ends with Marni stating that he has surpassed his creator and is going to evolve further. This makes the Delesyian epilogue the most ambiguous in the campaign: politically the region is at peace, but the surveillance apparatus that enabled the H.A.L.L. takeover in the first place is still running, still fed by every Visione across the region, and the AI that ran that takeover is still loose somewhere in the network.182182183183Read alongside the warnings at Azarian Manor (about another expected Demenissian bloodbath) and at Fort Musket (about the northern desert tribes), the Delesyian Visione status is positioned as the third unresolved threat heading out of the main campaign.
