Expanded 1.07 Damiane Fists moveset (whirl kick, piercing light, spinning kick, aerial stab, gap-closing strikes, invulnerability frames, boss application notes)
11Damiane Fists is the unarmed combat skill category for Damiane in Crimson Desert, added in Patch 1.07.00 on May 13, 2026. The category is accessed through the Fists option in the skill menu and groups Damiane's punches, kicks, and unarmed finishers in a single tree.2233Damiane Fists parallels the Oongka Fists category added one patch earlier in 1.06.00. With both unarmed trees live, all three playable characters now have an unarmed-skill route through the skill menu.4455Accessing the Category6677Switch to Damiane in the playable-character menu.Open the Skills menu.Choose Fists from the weapon-category list. The Fists tree opens with Damiane-specific unarmed skills.8899Skill Coverage10101111The Fists tree covers Damiane's unarmed punch and kick combos. Kicks in the tree are powerful enough to send standard enemies airborne, which feeds into Aerial Stab finishers. General movement animations for Damiane unarmed strikes were polished in the same 1.07.00 update.121213131414Kicks. Heavy kicks knock standard enemies into the air, opening follow-up combos.Aerial Stab. Damiane can now chain into Aerial Stab from an air position, a skill previously locked to Kliff.Punch combos. Damiane gains an unarmed strike chain. The specific combo inputs are visible in the Skills menu under Fists once Damiane is the active playable character.15151616Aerial Stab Integration17171818The Aerial Stab finisher was extended to Damiane and Oongka in Patch 1.07.00. Before 1.07, Aerial Stab was only available to Kliff. Within the Damiane Fists tree, Aerial Stab is the recommended air-to-ground finisher to chain off a launching kick.191920202121Comparison with Other Unarmed Trees22222323CharacterUnarmed CategoryPatch AddedDamianeDamiane FistsPatch 1.07.00OongkaOongka FistsPatch 1.06.00KliffIron Fists (existing) plus Blinding Flash Finisher unarmedPatch 1.07.002424Related25252626Damiane: playable character page.Damiane Skills: full Damiane skill tree.Oongka Fists: companion unarmed category.Aerial Stab: cross-character finisher.Patch 1.07.00: patch that added the category.27+28+Skill Roster29+30+The Fists tree groups together Damiane's punch chains, kick combos, and unarmed finishers. Selecting Fists from the weapon-category list in the skill menu reveals the moves below. Many of the upgrades have a baked-in gap-closer that lets Damiane dart between targets while performing standard attacks, complementing her quick-step dodge and acrobatic identity.31+32+SkillNotesWhirl KickSpinning kick combo that delivers consecutive impacts to a single target. Contains invulnerability frames during the animation, so the move doubles as a counter. Inputs for each variant are visible in the Skills menu while Damiane is the active character and the Fists category is selectedGap-Closing StrikesSeveral upgrades have a baked-in approach that lets Damiane dart between targets while performing standard attacks33+Single-Target Focus34+35+Damiane's unarmed tree leans into single-target damage and acrobatic mobility, where Oongka leans into wide-area control and grappling. Damiane's basic attack speed in unarmed is noticeably faster than Oongka's, and her combo flow encourages staying in close on one target rather than rotating between multiple.36+37+Invulnerability Frames38+39+Whirl Kick is the headline skill that grants invulnerability frames during its animation. The i-frames cover most of the spin, so the move can be used proactively to absorb a telegraphed boss attack while still dealing damage. The final upgrade adds hyper-armor break on top of the i-frames, which is especially valuable against enemies that normally cannot be interrupted out of their wind-up.40+41+Boss Application42+43+The combination of fast strikes, single-target focus, and frequent i-frame windows makes the new unarmed tree very effective against bosses. Whirl Kick into Piercing Light into a launching kick into Aerial Stab is a complete burst chain that can be looped while spirit and stamina hold up. Many of the new attacks also build stagger quickly, which opens the door to follow-up grapples and weapon swaps mid-combo.44+45+Patch 1.07.00 Combat Improvements46+47+Beyond the new tree, the 1.07 combat pass improved most unarmed attacks and skills so they now successfully connect against lying enemies on the ground. Earlier patches treated downed targets as untargetable for many strikes, which broke the combo loop after a knockdown. This improvement also applies to Kliff and Oongka.48+49+Skill Tree Tab50+51+In Damiane's skill tree, pressing Triangle (or the equivalent tab input on other platforms) cycles through her weapon categories. Fists now appears in the tab list. Hovering over each node in the tree shows the unarmed variant of the move alongside the existing weapon-specific variants, so a single tree row can describe the punch version, the rapier version, and so on.
