See the Pet Taming Guide for the full taming workflow and the Companion Trust article for how trust progression works across all pets.2323To start a crow tame, equip the Sigil of Bond from the inventory, carry it out, and place it on the ground in an area where crows fly overhead. Place the feeder on high ground, such as a cliff top or hill crest, so birds can spot it clearly from their flight path. After the feeder is placed, crows take roughly two to six minutes to land on a stocked Sigil, so expect a short wait between drop and first landing.2525Once the crow is feeding, each interaction raises its trust score toward the 100 threshold. The elevated ridgeline sits along the flight path of hawks and crows, and the same perch also draws geese when the feeder is stocked with grain. This is the starter-friendly spot for early bird taming since the camp itself is safe.4242Fast-Travel Point North of Demeniss4444A confirmed crow farming spot sits at the fast-travel point in the area immediately north of Demeniss. The fast-travel pad itself is safe even if the surrounding region is hostile; liberate the area first if needed, then drop the Sigil right next to the travel marker. Load the feeder with meat, bugs, and fish to cover whatever lands, and expect the usual two to six minute wait before the first bird arrives. This area pulls parrots, geese, pigeons, sparrows, and hawks in addition to crows, so a longer session here often yields multiple small birds from a single deployment.4646Companion Behavior4848Once tamed, a crow follows the player as a companion. Like the other tamed pets, a crow will autonomously collect items dropped near the player while exploring or during combat, so the player can keep attention on the fight while the pet grabs loot from downed enemies and resource nodes.5050Smaller flying companions, including the crow, will land on the Pororin Petal Hat when the player wears it, perching on the brim rather than on the shoulder or arm. Larger flying pets like the Phoenix continue to perch on the arm instead.
