2020 Patch 1.09.00 added roughly thirty small animal species that can now be registered as Pets, and the Crake is one of them. A registered pet follows you and loots fallen enemies. To tame one, raise its Trust from 0 to 100, then hold the on-screen prompt to choose Take In.

2222 Many of the new small pets share a single farm field in the Delesyia area, on the strip of farmland north of Tinkerton. Look for a leaning tower standing in the middle of the field with three flax patches (the grass with white flowers) beside it, the spot players call the golden apple hedgehog farm. Walk through the flax and the animals dash out in one direction, then circle back through the patch to make them respawn.
