2121 The Corrupted Greymane quest becomes available around chapter 6 or chapter 7 of the main story, as the Greymane camp storyline progresses. The marker appears in Hernand near the House of Healing area. A special goblet reward icon on the map before the quest is accepted flags the permanent stamina bonus waiting at the end, which is why this is one of the most prioritized quests in the region.

2525 The quest ends with a boss fight against the Crimson Warden, a defector Greymane archer, with the encounter taking place just south of Demeniss despite the quest starting in Hernand. Defeating her drops the Dark Red Goblet key item, which when consumed grants a permanent stamina increase. The same fight teaches archery-based skills through the Watch and Learn system, which makes it one of the highest-value early single encounters in the game and a strong argument for not ignoring this line once the goblet icon appears on the map.
