Their influence extends as far as Pailune, and they are said to have every bit of news beyond Demeniss in the palm of their hand. Bastier even calls their intelligence network the "Eyes of Demeniss." Rumors persist that this same network funnels vast sums of money out of Demeniss, though the purpose remains unclear.
