1515 To tame the Black Cat, you first need to pick it up by holding the carry button. Once you are carrying the cat, you can pet it. Each petting action grants +5 Trust, and you can pet up to five times per in-game day for a maximum of +25 Trust from petting alone. Note that cats cannot pass through doors while you are carrying them.

Black Cats prefer Red Tonguesole as their favorite food. They tend to be harder to tame due to their cautious nature and elevated hiding spots. Patience and persistence are key.
