11The Bamboo Forest Seonangdang Ruins is Ancient Ruins #19 in Crimson Desert. This cairn-stacking puzzle requires you to locate three ribbon-marked stones scattered around the ruins and stack them on a central cairn in front of the Abyss Cresset. It is one of the simpler Ancient Ruins puzzles, but careless movement can cause stones to roll away and force a reset.2233In Korean folklore, a Seonangdang is a spirit shrine made of stacked stones. The central cairn in this ruin represents a broken spiritual connection that stays locked until the cairn is rebuilt in the correct order.4455Location6677The Bamboo Forest Seonangdang Ruins are located in the Demeniss region, south of the Sanctum of Revelation, across the river and northeast of Serpent Marsh. You can spot the ruins by using your Lantern or Guiding Light ability to detect the white question mark icon indicating a "Mysterious Energy" zone in the area.8899Players pursuing the Witch of Strength questline will pass near this location when heading to the Sanctum of Revelation. The Abyss Cresset unlocked here is especially useful as a fast travel point for returning to the Sanctum if you are defeated by the boss and need to adjust your build.10101111Puzzle Overview121213131414The ruins are filled with decorative rock piles, but only three specific stones can be interacted with. Each interactable stone is wrapped with a colored ribbon: red, blue, or yellow. Your goal is to carry all three stones to the central cairn (the small stone tower in front of the Abyss Cresset) and stack them from largest to smallest.15151616Stone Locations17171818Stand facing the Abyss Cresset and use the following directions to locate each stone:19192020StoneRibbon ColorSizeDirection from CressetStone 1RedLargestWest (turn left from the Cresset)Stone 2BlueMediumEast (across from the Cresset)Stone 3YellowSmallestEast (elevated on a small existing rock pile)2121The yellow-ribbon stone is the hardest to spot because it sits on top of a small rock pile rather than on flat ground. Look slightly above eye level when searching the eastern side of the ruins.22222323Step-by-Step Solution24242525Approach the red-ribbon stone on the west side of the Abyss Cresset. Press the interact button to pick it up.Walk slowly to the central cairn. When the "Place" prompt appears on screen, use it to set the stone down. Do not simply release the carry button, as the placement animation ensures proper alignment.Head to the eastern side and pick up the blue-ribbon stone (medium-sized). Carry it back to the cairn and place it on top of the red stone.Locate the yellow-ribbon stone sitting on a small rock pile to the east. Pick it up and place it on top of the blue stone to complete the cairn.Once all three stones are stacked correctly (red on the bottom, blue in the middle, yellow on top), the Abyss Cresset activates automatically.26262727Important Tips28282929Do not jump or dodge while carrying a stone. Kliff will drop the stone, and it may roll downhill into dense bamboo where it becomes difficult to retrieve.Always use the "Place" prompt. The scripted placement animation snaps the stone into its correct position on the cairn. Releasing the carry button manually can cause the stone to sit at a bad angle and topple.Clear debris from the cairn first. Small objects on the central cairn can interfere with proper stone seating. Interact with any loose items before you begin stacking.Walk, do not run. Moving slowly while carrying a stone reduces the chance of accidentally dropping it near ledges or uneven terrain.Stack from largest to smallest. Always place the red stone first, then blue, then yellow. Attempting to stack in a different order will not complete the puzzle.30303131Resetting the Puzzle32323333If a stone rolls away or becomes stuck in an unreachable location, open your map and fast travel to a different region. When you return to the Bamboo Forest Seonangdang Ruins, all three interactable stones will have reset to their original positions. Any stones you already placed on the cairn will also reset, so you will need to start the stacking process over.34343535Rewards36363737RewardDetailsAbyss ArtifactGrants one Abyss Artifact, usable for stat upgrades or skill tree purchasesAbyss CressetActivates a permanent fast travel waypoint at the Bamboo Forest location3838Related Puzzles39394040Ancient RuinsAbyss CressetsAbyss ArtifactsSecret Chamber of the Golden Plains Puzzle SolutionCrossroads of Uncertainty Puzzle Solution
