11Kibo are the creature companions of Azur Promilia. A publisher press release from October 13, 2026 describes them as creatures players can bond with, which help in combat and with home tasks such as farming, crafting and gathering materials. The same month, Manjuu released the first English promotional video under the title Kibo Safari. The Korean community also runs an observation series (키보 관찰기록) of short illustrated posts about individual Kibo.1112Growth Stages1314A Korean community post from January 14, 2026 says Kibo pass through growth stages such as juvenile (유년기) and mature (성숙기), and that a Kibo's appearance, habits, talents and skills can change from stage to stage. Several Korean entries name each stage of a line. The beaver line, for example, goes from 꼬마 비버 (juvenile) to 파도 비버 (growth stage) and then 비버 마스터 (mature). The Korean observation post for Staray says that it spends an earlier stage as 버니 만타. Kibo List gives every named stage.1516In the Korean closed beta of May 2026, a fruit sold as seeds at the housing shop (스타위스퍼 열매 in the event notice) raised Kibo experience, and a 키보 대전 event awarded 기적의 열매, described as a fruit that helps Kibo grow.1718스타링크 and Its Cards1920Characters bond with Kibo through 스타링크, a Korean transliteration that reads as star link; an official English term has not been announced as of October 2026. In the Korean closed beta it used cards. Basic cards could be made with quick craft, while other cards were made at a 공명 석대 (a resonance stone altar) that players built at the housing workbench and placed in their housing. Choosing a higher map difficulty in 새싹 골짜기 raised the chance of higher-grade factors (인자) and potential (포텐셜) when performing 스타링크, and 스타링크 with Kibo also counted toward the account level, 스타센스.2122The developer letter of May 26, 2026 said success rates would be adjusted by card grade, the point at which each grade becomes available would change, and the long stiff pause when a character performs 스타링크 would be shortened. These are planned changes, not confirmed features. See Gameplay Systems for the wider system.2324Variant and Shiny Kibo2526The Korean closed beta had three kinds of special Kibo (특수 키보): off-color Kibo (이색 키보), shiny Kibo (반짝 키보) and Kibo that are both (이색 반짝 키보). During the test an event raised their appearance rate, and an NPC service called 파미 우체국 showed where special Kibo had been sighted. The developer letter later promised clearer in-game alerts when an off-color or shiny Kibo appears.2728Riding2930Kibo can be ridden in the test builds. In the Korean closed beta, riding unlocked after the main quest step Chapter 1 III, 늑대의 안내, in which Terara guides the player to make a saddle (우르 안장). Saddles for each Kibo are made at the housing workbench, and the T key opens the list of mounts. A ridden Kibo has a satiety gauge; when it runs low the mount cannot sprint, and the player feeds it cooked food from the bag. After the test the developers said satiety would drain less harshly and that players would be able to open chests, talk to NPCs and gather while mounted.3132Kibo in Housing3334The housing menu (하우징 중심부) in the Korean closed beta had two jobs for Kibo. Kibo assigned to work (키보 작업) sped up production in housing, and Kibo placed on the Kibo ranch (키보 목장) produced items needed for housing. Kibo could also be placed by selecting a building on the housing map. The developer letter mentions improving Kibo dispatch (키보 파견) and showing a preview of what each Kibo produces on the ranch. The test also had a Kibo encyclopedia (키보 도감), a Kibo hut (키보 오두막) and a Kibo formation screen.3536Kibo in Combat3738The press release says Kibo assist players in combat, and in the Korean closed beta a party of characters fought alongside them. The developer letter after that test said Kibo would get a stronger presence in battle and adjusted strength.3940Boss Kibo4142Some Kibo are presented as bosses. After the Korean test the developers planned interactions between characters and these Kibo and other ways to obtain them outside that mode.4647Kibo Battle (키보 대전)4849키보 대전 is a mode in which Kibo battle each other; only the Korean name is official. During the Korean closed beta it hosted an event called 샤이닝스타 토너먼트. After finishing the main quest 주민들의 소원, players talked to Terara in 샤루루 마을 to open the tournament. It had seven stages, each with its own reward conditions, stage mechanics and a recommended Kibo level, and clearing one let players choose the next.
