This page lists the characters officially named for Azur Promilia as of October 2026. Most come from the Korean publisher's official community, which introduces one character at a time in first-meeting and second-meeting posts. The official Japanese website has profile pages for five characters, and those five are the only ones with official Latin-script names: Anais, Cathbelle, Symphoria, Terara and Metsa. Everyone else is named only in Korean, Japanese or Chinese, and their English names have not been announced.
The Korean posts state that they describe a development build that may differ at launch.
The Protagonist
The player character is a customizable traveler. Chinese material addresses the player as 星临者 and the Korean community uses 성림자; an English title has not been announced as of October 2026. A Korean introduction posted on April 2, 2026 says the traveler has lost their memory and sets out on an adventure in an unfamiliar world to find their past and a reason to live, gathering reliable companions along the way.
In the Korean closed beta of May 2026, the protagonist's hair, eyes, ears, skin color, costume and gender could be changed from the player card in the settings menu. See Gameplay Systems for more on the test builds.

A few of these characters also appear in Japanese material. The Japanese YouTube channel's video about the guild receptionist uses the name メイプル, and the Japanese site's page for 鏡花州 says only 寒悠悠 knows the best place to watch fireworks. No official source states whether 寒悠悠 is the character the Korean community calls 한요요. As of October 2026, the only Chinese character name confirmed in the text of official pages is 艾妮丝 (the official Chinese website's character section shows its names only as artwork), which Chinese milestone notices list as the 25 million reward in the place where the Japanese page lists Anais.
Other Named Figures
우미 hide around the continent in the test builds, and players can look for them; 코코 is said to explore the world with 우미. 주잔카 appears only in the name of a minigame, 주잔카의 사다리. Official posts do not describe either further. The attendance event of the Korean closed beta in May 2026 also gave out two characters, 루비 and 도산소옥, each with an exclusive 영자; as of October 2026, official posts have not otherwise introduced them.
Why Only Five Latin Names
The official Japanese website writes its five character names in katakana followed by a Latin-script name in parentheses, such as テララ (Terara). No other official surface has given Latin-script names for the rest of the cast. The Korean community names many more characters, but only in Hangul, and readings such as Maple for メイプル or 메이플 are not confirmed English names. This wiki keeps the published names until official English names are announced.
Character Videos
Both official YouTube channels have published short character promotional videos:
The Japanese channel has promotional videos for Terara and Cathbelle, and a video about a day in the life of the guild receptionist メイプル.
The Korean channel has character videos for Terara, Cathbelle and 메이플, two animated cutscenes with Korean voices, and a special interview with the voice actors behind several characters.
The Korean channel also posted a letter-style promotional video from 루루카 ahead of Comic World 330 Ilsan in March 2026.
The development team's letter of May 26, 2026, posted on the Korean community, said the game will offer Korean voice-over when it launches in Korea. As of October 2026, the official text posts have not named the voice actors who appear in that interview.
Where Characters Come From
The roster spans several peoples and places. 샤루루 마을 (シャルル村) is home to beastkin such as Terara, 루루카 and 카타루. Symphoria and Metsa are wood elves from ローズランサ (로스 레인스), 샬레·엔시스 and 모르윈 are tied to 아발리안, and 미티 and 파란타 come from 거스트폴, a homeland of winged people. Anais, Cathbelle and 메이플 are connected to Fleece. World and Regions describes these places.
