Cabbird is a Kibo in Azur Promilia and one of five with an official Latin-script name, printed as CABBIRD on the official Japanese and Chinese websites. It is a bird-like Kibo with a leafy crest, and it has been used widely in promotion, from event booths to chat emoticons.

Description
The Japanese site describes Cabbird as a popular Kibo that the intelligent races often keep. It is gentle and not wary of people. It dislikes having the leaves on its head pulled, but when petted it spreads its tail feathers in delight. The Chinese site gives the same picture, and the Korean pre-registration page adds that it quickly sulks if its leaves are plucked and fans its tail out when its head is stroked.
Behavior
The Korean community's encyclopedia entry, posted on December 17, 2025, explains the crest. The green, leaf-shaped crest is both decoration and an important survival tool: in a crisis it changes into something like a propeller, and Cabbird uses it to fly quickly up into the sky.
Appearances at Events
Cabbird has served as the game's mascot at public events in Korea and China:

July 10, 2026 | Bilibili World 2026, Shanghai | The booth had giant Cabbird figures, a Cabbird-decorated car, a rotating Cabbird ride and a display of Cabbird riding a roller coaster with other characters; visitors who joined the booth event received a Cabbird bag |
The Korean YouTube channel also posted the two Comic World teaser videos about Cabbird appearing at KINTEX. More on these events is on Development and Publishing.
Classification and Naming
The regions agree that Cabbird is an aberrant-born Kibo but name its subgroup differently: wing-form clan in Japan, feather-form clan in China and bird type in Korea. No English classification names have been announced as of October 2026. The Japanese name キャバード follows the Latin name, while the Korean 배추닭 and the Chinese 菜鸡 both describe a cabbage or vegetable chicken. Cabbird is listed with the other named Kibo on Kibo List.
