The voice cast of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV was announced by KING Art on August 5, 2026, ahead of a release now set for December 3, 2026. Sixteen performers were named, covering the named Characters of the Campaign as well as the generic unit voices for whole Factions. The studio has also been running a cast spotlight series on its social channels, introducing performers a few at a time.

Returning to the Series
Brian Drummond is the clearest thread back through the franchise: he has voiced Warboss Gorgutz across the series, and his battle cries are treated as a defining part of it. KING Art kept him in the role for Dawn of War IV. Alex Jordan comes at it from the other direction, having cited Dawn of War as one of the first games that made him realise acting in games could be a career before joining this entry as Chaplain Ezrael.
Several others are returning to the wider Warhammer setting rather than to Dawn of War specifically, having previously voiced roles in other Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer titles. The setting's audiobook line also overlaps heavily with the cast, with a number of the performers having narrated for Games Workshop's fiction imprint.
Who Writes the Words
The campaign's story is written by John French, an author for Games Workshop's in-house fiction imprint. His involvement was confirmed alongside the cast announcement, tying the writing and the performances to the same push toward an authentically presented Story and Setting.
Language Support
Full voice acting is confirmed in English only. The game is text-localized into thirteen languages in total, so players outside English will read subtitles over the English performances. See Release Date and Editions for the full language list.
Pre-Release Note
Dawn of War IV has not yet released. Sixteen performers have been named, but the studio has said more of the cast will be introduced through its ongoing spotlight series, so this list is not final. Roles for Engram and Buzzsnap were named without a description of who those characters are, and no casting has been announced for several figures that appear elsewhere in the game's material.
