Just started and the game seems designed for controller but the inventory management and crafting menus feel clunky with a gamepad. Anyone have a strong preference? Can you rebind keys?
I play with controller for exploration, farming, and combat, then switch to keyboard for menus and crafting. It's a bit annoying to swap but it's the best of both worlds. Yes, full key rebinding is supported in the Controls settings.
Pure keyboard and mouse here. Once you rebind the tool swap to mouse scroll wheel and item pickup to E, it feels pretty natural. The camera controls are way better with mouse than analog stick for placing buildings.
