1010 On the Game
1111
1212 On what the town does to the player: he has said players will "see for themselves the reality and delusions within the town slowly intertwine." On what the series has not covered before, he has framed the game's social angle as "the dynamic between the individual and society at large and corporations." He returned to that framing in an interview conducted at gamescom and published on September 13, 2026, calling Townfall a socially conscious Silent Hill whose scenario is drawn on the frame of the individual against the corporation and the individual against society, an angle he said widens the range of stories the series can tell; the post he co-wrote with Jon McKellan on September 16 puts it as a deep narrative between the individual and the corporate as well as the individual and society at large. In the same September interview he said he expected the game to be received as well as the two series entries that preceded it, and that the response from people who had played it gave him enough confidence to think it might turn out to be the best in the series, which is his expectation rather than a published result.

1414 On the PlayStation 5 hardware: the series has historically been praised for its visuals and sound, and being able to bring the sense of touch into the horror is what the console adds. The controller work is on PS5 Features.
1515
1616 On September 16, 2026 he co-wrote a post with McKellan for the platform holder's blog breaking down the PlayStation 5 version: ray-traced lighting, custom 3D audio systems, the DualSense features and the studio's intent that players forget they are holding a controller. It is the third post on that blog to carry his name. Its contents are on PS5 Features.
1717
1818 On the ending structure: "All three main endings can be reached right from your first playthrough, whereas the secret ending becomes accessible after clearing the game once," adding that players are not forced to replay two or three times to see the primary endings. On whether any of them is the real one: "From our perspective, we don't designate any single ending as the true canon ending. We are aware that a lot of players personally take to heart that a certain ending is canon, but we take care not to signal that any one ending is more canon than the other." See Endings and New Game Plus.
1919
2020 He has also referred to "the town's atmosphere and the portrayal of the Otherworld" as part of what players will find in the game, which is one of the two first-party statements naming the Otherworld for Townfall.
