Initial version (2026-09-12)
Three actors have been announced for PHYSINT. All three were revealed on 23 September 2025 at Beyond The Strand, Kojima Productions' tenth-anniversary event, and each was introduced with a short casting announcement video. As of 2026-09-12, none of the three has been given a character name, a role, or any described story function, and no fourth cast member has been announced.
Actor | Announced | Announcement asset | Role as of 2026-09-12 |
|---|---|---|---|
Charlee Fraser | 23 September 2025 | One short casting announcement video | Undisclosed |
Ma Dong-seok (Don Lee) | 23 September 2025 | One short casting announcement video | Undisclosed |
Minami Hamabe | 23 September 2025 | One short casting announcement video, plus a 3D-scanned model still | Undisclosed |
Charlee Fraser is an Australian actor and former model. Her best known screen work is in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, in which she plays the title character's mother. Nothing about that work has been connected to PHYSINT by the studio; it is listed here only so readers know who was cast, and no part of it should be read as an indication of her role.
Ma Dong-seok is a Korean American actor. First-party copy from the studio renders his name as Ma Dong-Seok; English-language material commonly uses Don Lee, the stage name he works under internationally. Both refer to the same person. He is widely known for Train to Busan, for the Korean crime action film series known internationally as The Roundup, and for Eternals.
Minami Hamabe is a Japanese actor, known outside Japan above all for Godzilla Minus One. She is also the only cast member whose likeness has appeared in any PHYSINT material: alongside her casting video, the studio showed a 3D-scanned model of her, described as output in the game engine and as still in development rather than finished. The engine that produced it has not been revealed, and as of 2026-09-12 no engine has been named for PHYSINT by anyone first-party.
Three separate videos premiered inside the anniversary stream, one per actor. Each is a brief piece in which the actor congratulates the studio on its tenth anniversary and offers thoughts on being cast. None contains gameplay, none names a character, and none describes a scene. They are assets four, five and six in the complete inventory at Media and Assets.
The cast is the part of PHYSINT most often written about as though more were known than is. Each line below was checked on 2026-09-12.

One further item is deliberately left out. In April 2026 an unconfirmed casting document circulated in coverage, described as attached to the project under a codename and sketching scene and character types. It was never acknowledged by the studio, it described a casting call rather than anything in a build, and the shoot it described was reported for the same month in which the project's publishing arrangement collapsed. No character, scene or performer from it is documented here, and it should not be used to fill in the blanks above. See What We Know and What We Don't.
