Overview

Wen Sheng Xiao (闻声晓, Wén Shēng Xiǎo) is the Chapter 26 boss of Honor of Kings: World's S0 main story, encountered in the chapter titled "书外虚实" ("Truth and Illusion Outside the Book"). This is the climactic fight of the Dongfang Yao personal storyline arc, which spans Chapters 20 through 27 in Ali213's 27-chapter walkthrough index. The fight is followed only by Chapter 27 "后日谈" (Epilogue), making Wen Sheng Xiao the final main-story boss before the S0 post-game wrap-up.

Launch-Window Coverage is Limited

As of April 12, 2026, detailed fight mechanics for Wen Sheng Xiao are not publicly documented. GamerSky's text walkthrough (the most reliable mechanical source for the Prologue through Chapter 13 fights) has not yet reached Chapter 26 and carries an explicit update note: "未完待续……下次更新日期预计为4月14日~" ("To be continued... next update expected on or after April 14"). Both Ali213's per-chapter page and GamerSky's video walkthrough page for Chapter 26 currently contain only the chapter title and a video embed with no body text. No Baidu Baike, 17173, or dedicated Bilibili article coverage of the fight's mechanics surfaces in search.

Storyline Context

The Dongfang Yao arc of the S0 main story includes a storybook-within-the-game framing, with three chapters explicitly titled "《曜系列》" ("Yao Series"):

The chapter title "Truth and Illusion Outside the Book" and its position immediately after three in-book "Yao Series" storybook episodes implies a narrative frame where the player has been living inside storybooks, and Chapter 26 is where the frame breaks. This is structural inference from the chapter titles, however, and is not directly confirmed by any launch-window source. Treat the "breaks the storybook frame" framing as interpretation rather than verified lore until primary coverage becomes available.

What This Stub Does Not Cover

This article will remain a stub until primary sources publish fight mechanics. The following are intentionally omitted because they are not yet documented:

• HP pool, phase count, and fight duration

• Unique mechanics or attack patterns
