Overview
Springbrook Plains is a region in Primaera adjacent to Jixia Academy. It is the area where students from across the sea gather to begin their academic journey. The official website describes it as the first training ground for new arrivals.
Environment
The Plains are characterized by open grasslands interspersed with ancient ruins and wetland areas. The terrain is relatively flat compared to the surrounding highlands, making it accessible for new players. Brooks and small streams run through the area, giving the region its name. Overgrown stone structures from a previous civilization dot the landscape.
Gameplay role
Springbrook Plains functions as the game's introductory zone. Early story missions bring the Flowborn here to complete initial training exercises and learn the basics of the combat system. The area contains beginner-level enemies, introductory gathering nodes, and tutorial encounters that teach mechanics like dodging, parrying, and weapon switching.
The ancient ruins scattered across the Plains also serve as early exploration targets, with collectibles and environmental storytelling that introduce the history of Primaera's ancient civilizations.
Connection to other areas
Springbrook Plains connects to Jixia Academy to one side and Dragon Valley further out. Players naturally progress from the Plains into more challenging areas as they level up and advance through the story.
