Jixia Star Team

Overview

The Jixia Star Team (稷下星之队, Jìxià Xīng Zhī Duì) is the in-world adventuring squad that the player joins at Jixia Academy in Honor of Kings: World. Baidu Baike primary text references the Star Team's assembly ("稷下星之队集结") as a central framing event in the early main story. The squad is made up of Jixia Academy students who take on quests and adventures around the academy and its surrounding regions, serving as the narrative hub for the player's social connections and early questlines.

Role in the Story

When the player protagonist, the Child of the Primal Flow, enrolls at Jixia Academy, they join the Jixia Star Team as part of the introductory main story. The Star Team framework gives the player a ready-made group of NPC allies who accompany them on early adventures, provide banter and story context, and introduce the player to the academy's social dynamics. This is a common narrative device in open-world RPGs for establishing early character relationships, and Honor of Kings: World uses it to connect the player to Jixia Academy culture from the start.

Member Characters

Specific Star Team members have not been fully listed in primary Chinese sources. Because many of the S0 launch Resonances are confirmed Jixia Academy members (Dongfang Yao, Xi Shi, Meng Ya, Master Lu Ban, Sun Bin, Leng Chun), it is plausible that some or all of them are part of the Star Team at various points in the story. However, the exact roster of the Star Team as a named group has not been publicly documented, and membership may shift over the course of the main narrative.
