Overview
Azure Axe Forged General (青钺铸将, Qīng Yuè Zhù Jiàng) is the main-story boss of Chapter 8 "隐秘世界" (Hidden World) in Honor of Kings: World's S0 season. The fight takes place in the underground Hidden World zone, which GamerSky's walkthrough confirms is a persistent 地下地图 ("underground map"), not a one-shot instance. Players can return to Hidden World after the chapter to explore 溯闻 side quests, stele inscriptions, chests, and 燃山石粒 collectibles.
Fight Structure
GamerSky does not label the encounter with explicit phase numbers, but documents a clear low-HP enrage state where a new mechanic (the 黄毯 yellow carpet delayed shockwave) is added to the rotation. Treat this as one phase with a late-fight escalation.
Core Mechanics
Ground slam, two-hand clap, two-hand pound (砸地、双手拍、双手砸地) — telegraphed heavy attacks that can be dodged or ranged down.
Multi-hit chained clap — the two-hand clap is a multi-hit combo that deals high damage and knocks players up. Players must dodge repeatedly or run laterally, ideally circling behind the boss to avoid the attack line entirely.
Body-and-weapon spin combo — after several slams, the boss enters a continuous spin sequence that requires repeated dodges or early disengage.

Weapon-phantom throw (召唤出黄色武器虚影) — the boss summons an oversized spectral axe phantom and hurls it forward. The phantom is large but easy to sidestep on the throw. On its return path it will hit any player standing in the retrieval line.
Football-tackle charge — the boss takes a rugby-tackle stance and sprints at the player's position at high speed. Lateral dodge to avoid.
Low-HP Escalation
Yellow carpet delayed shockwave (黄毯) — rolls out across the floor and then releases delayed upward shockwaves from marked zones. Stay out of the marked zones until the shockwave fires.
Continuous ground-spike line (连续挑起地刺) — spikes shoot in a straight line from the boss toward the player's position out to the edge of the arena. The attack is chained: if one hit lands, the follow-ups are hard to avoid without a perfect-dodge reset.
Red-flash two-handed ground-spike — immediately follows the ground-spike line with a larger area and higher damage. Requires chained dodges to avoid both attacks in sequence.
Recommended Loadout
GamerSky recommends ranged Resonances for this fight, citing the boss's heavy melee range and the difficulty of chaining perfect dodges against its combo attacks. The walkthrough suggests a patient, mobility-first playstyle rather than stance-up-and-trade. No parry-reward mechanic is documented for this specific fight, and the weakness-zone / posture break systems apply normally but are not called out as especially important.
Rewards and Chapter Exit
After defeating the boss, GamerSky notes nearby adds and a chest in the same zone, plus a weapon-upgrade (武器升级) prompt that actually unlocks just before the fight: "每个共鸣能力都有各自的专武..."
