910 The official profile frames Breadhead as a figure who already knows the player character and leads them out of a layered dreamscape at the start of the story. That opening ties to the protagonist's own history: the player learns early that they are the World-Ender, sealed for over 214 years in an illusory world by Kumyo Kyo. HoYoverse has not published anything beyond the profile about who or what Breadhead is.
